My name is Aja Burns. My most recent title is Network Engineer, but that’s only one facet of my value proposition. I come with a foundation built on problem solving and finding solutions to create value.
I earned a BS in Networking from Eastern Michigan University. The experience that I’ve gained from working with my previous employers has me confident not only with my current skills, but also in the ability to keep a growth mindset in order to succeed with new challenges. The last five years, I’ve managed a global network infrastructure supporting approximately 30 locations across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. I’ve been responsible for the planning, design, implementation, and control of all aspects of network communications.
I’m working on bringing more than my technical talents to the table. I know that it’s most important for a company to increase shareholder value and this has to start with making sound management decisions that will create that value. I am currently attending Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business seeking an MBA focused on Information Systems Management.
